Turkish Gecko prefers hot regions and lowlands. It is a characteristic specie from Mediterranean countries and islands. It was recently introduced in the USA, México and Cuba for the Man.
This specie is an invasive specie in many countries. In spite of this, it is not a dangerous specie to the other animals because of its small size. All animals have natural enemies in their habitat. Gecko isn’t an exception. Its enemies are, for instead, owls and snakes.
This specie is endangered because Man thinks that it is a dangerous and venomous animal and tries to kill it.
