Jaguar

Jaguar, also known as puma, is a big feline. Jaguar likes to climb trees and kill its preys there. It usually eats mammals and birds but it can survive eating all animal types.

This animal prefers to live in rain forests where it feels camouflaged and in security. It is actually extinguished in USA and it is really rare in Mexico, but we can see it in Latin America. In Europe we can see it in Italy, for instead.

This specie is really in danger. Its habitats destruction is one of the most important factors that contribute to its extinction. Another cause to jaguar be endangered is its intensive hunting. This animal is used to attack cattle, so it has many enemies between meat producers that try to wound and kill it. There are some fauna protection reserves that adopt these hurt animals and try to give them a new chance of live.
