Manta

Manga is a Rap Rock and Alternative Rock band from Turkey.

This band started in 2002 and it stills exist. It is formed by Ferman Akgul (vocal), Yagmur Sarigul (guitar), Cem Bahtiyar (bass), Efe Yilmaz (DJ) and Ozgur Can Oney (Drummer). They are all 31 years old.

This band has three albums; the last one is called “Şehr-i Hüzün” and it was made in 2009.

Manga has won several awards national and internationally. In his country it won prizes considering it the best national band, the best performance and the best videoclip. In 2009 this band won the price to the best European band in the MTV Europe Music Awards, what make this band really famous.    

They have more covers, but the more known is “Points of Authority”, that was recorded with Linkin Park, a very famous musical group.

 This band is going to sing to defend the Turkish Gecko.
