About us

Earthbeat is a music festival realized in Portugal that happens all years in the Spring. This is an environmental friend music festival. Earthbeat tries to educate people to environmental problems that affect everybody. In a world that is so much polluted it's necessary a voice that alerts people to what are we doing to our planet. This is the proposal of our festival: make people learn, by a funny way, that they can be happy being friends of the Environment.

This festival is called Earthbeat because we think that our planet has a Heart that beats for us, giving us aliments, home and happiness. That is the Earthbeat. And know this beating is a little bit weak because we are hurting Earth heart and we need to resolv it!

All years there are bands from different countries of Europe. These bands made songs to protect an endangered animal in their country and present them in this festival. There are always a year song that is the song associated to the endangered year animal, that is choice according to its danger level. During the festival are realized some workshops about the environment and walks around the village where is the festival.

This year the festival is goin to be in Viseu. He are counting with you :)
